" For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness."
We all have days where we feel down and it can be hard to pick ourselves up on our own.
Sometimes it's the little things that can help us get back on our feet. While your personal list may look completely different, here is my list of little things that makes me happy.

SUNRISE
Watching the beautiful sunrise definitely starts my day with a smile. It makes sense that a sunrise is the symbol for new beginnings.

HAVE BRUNCH instead of BREAKFAST
Waking up at about 10am on the weekend and going out for brunch with your friends or family is always a lovely way to celebrate your relationships.

PLAN A SHORT TRIP
Organising a short weekend trip to Gold Coast and enjoy the beautiful sunshine and beach is one of the things I would do monthly! No matter where's the location is or how long will you go, always remember "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".

BAKING
One of my favourite recipes is to bake sesame tapioca bread for my colleagues. Each time they said they are craving for this, my answer to them is definitely "Yeah, I will bake it tomorrow morning!" I always feel so grateful when someone remembers what I have been done! =P

READING
"I love books. I love the moment when you open and sink into it you can escape from the world, into a story that's way more interesting than yours will ever be". - Elizabeth Scott
Everynight before I am going to bed, I will definitely pick something to read. I prefer hard copy books rather than e-book. I like highlighting some of the sentences and jotting it down on a sticky pad and paste it on my table. Each time I'm feeling down, these little words will inspired and cheer me up :D
