The fourth tip focuses on when something goes wrong. So when things go wrong, what should you do?
The first thing you should do is to stop waiting. Is your team not responding? If you keep waiting, the chances are they'll never get back to you, and you will miss the important deadlines. You also need to contact your lecturer, tutor and unit coordinator to let them know what's happening, not necessarily to give you an extension (they actually can't give you extensions anymore due to recent changes with extension policy).
Once you have done those two tasks, you can then inform the group member that is not replying, and ask your lecturer about what to do with the assignment. A lot of lecturers are kind enough to give your team a smaller workload. So don't stress - there is always someone who can help when things go wrong.
This is part of your learning process and sometimes you just have to do the work for the member that has dropped out. But at least they won't get any marks and you have learnt twice as much than other students!
