University life can be tough for any students but thanks to university and Student Services and Amenity Fees (SSAF), we have many different kinds of support that are available at QUT. We would like to share some of these support services at QUT which are available to both domestic and international students. It's really up to you to utilise all these services that are right in front of you.
Study Support - Library
Need help with your study? First time at university? Got away from studying for a while and trying to get back to studying? You want to develop general study skills? Library is the place for you to go to. They offer a range of learning support depends on your needs. For example, workshop would be great if you feel you just need quick advice on general help in referencing and academic writing. If you need someone to guide you one-on-one, they offer guaranteed 25 minutes consultation through Study Solution. You're looking for references for your assignment? Then try the Study Guide which contains relevant journal titles and textbooks listed and would be great to get you started. Maths, Science and IT support - STIMulate
Need help with Maths, Science or IT related units? Then STIMulate is the place for you to go to. They have peer learning facilitators (in other words student tutors) to help you with any questions you may have. It's also a drop-in service so you don't need a booking, just go into one of their rooms in GP-O304, KG library level 3, or Caboolture library. By the way, this service is not only for SEF students and is available for any students studying any courses. Details:

Language Support - Language and Learning Support
English is not your first language? Language and Learning Support provides individual consultations and workshops. They can review your assignments before due date. Disability/injury - Disability Services
Have you injured yourself? Have you broken your leg while playing soccer? If yes, the Disability Services is the place for you to go. They offer note-taking, lecture recording and exam deferral support if necessary, and they also make sure that classrooms are accessible for you.
